3/14/2025: Lunar Eclipse Pics

Location: East Texas/ USA. About to Enter Total Lunar Eclipse approximately 1:20am CST. Using 25mm lens and an iPhone 12 camera.

Switched to 15mm lens and changed iPhone camera to take in more light. Better color but fuzzy night sky. As Close to totality as I was able to view before the clouds covered the moon for the rest of the night. (I was so upset I was literally THIS close to getting to see totality.)

The was a rather impromptu viewing as I had just gotten home from a DnD session and didn't have much time to prepare. With the overcast I didn't bother with my Canon since I didn't want to fiddle with it every single time the overcast covered the moon. I still hope that you enjoy these images as much as I had taking them. I was out in my apartment complexe's parking lot, looking like a mad woman, cursing at the clouds at 2am.

10/15/2024: Astrophotography - C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS

Used my Canon Rebel T7 with 15 sec shots, F8, and used light room to color correct. My first real astrophotography shoot so I have some improvements to make. Need to work on focusing and other settings. Just the beginning!

Peace and Love, NerdyMug
